Senior/Intermediate Electrical Engineer

Intermediate/Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience is required for this position. Technical expertise in the design of electrical distribution systems for commercial, healthcare, educational, institutional and residential construction is necessary.  Experience with emergency backup power, lighting, fire alarm and security, communications and structured cabling systems is also a requirement.

Familiarity with the LEED® certification process and sustainable or green building design of energy efficient or intelligent buildings would be an asset.

The successful candidate will join an established team of design professionals providing innovative solutions on challenging building design projects.

Preference will be given to individuals who have:

Registration or eligibility for registration with Engineers Nova Scotia is essential.
