Early History

Morris & Richard Consulting Engineers Limited was incorporated in 1971 by Denis J. Morris, P. Eng. & Robert J. Richard, P. Eng. to provide design and supervisory services in the disciplines of mechanical and electrical engineering.  A privately held business, wholly owned by Nova Scotians, with its head office was located at 5531 Cornwallis Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia; Morris & Richard broadened the long term prospects of the company while providing security of commitment and service to the firm’s clients for over 40 years. 

 

 

Transition

In 2003, Denis A. Morris. P. Eng.  successfully transitioned the company to its second generation as M&R ENGINEERING and it is still a privately held business, wholly owned by Nova Scotians.  Although M&R Engineering works mainly in Nova Scotia, the firm has worked in New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland/Labrador.  M&R Engineering is run by our owner,  Denis A. Morris, P. Eng.  -  President who is a Senior Design Engineer with the firm.
