Energy Modeler with either a Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Engineering Technology is required for this position. Experience in the design or analysis of Building Envelope, HVAC, Plumbing, Renewable Energy and/or HVAC Control systems is an asset. Tasks will involve generating energy models for new and existing buildings and running simulations using energy efficiency measures, generating heating and cooling loads for sizing HVAC systems, building operational carbon analysis, assisting with green building rating systems and assisting with building commissioning.
Familiarity with the green building certifications such as LEED®, Zero Carbon Building Design, the WELL Building Standard and/or Passive House would be an asset. As would experience in commissioning.
The successful candidate will join an established team of design professionals providing innovative solutions on challenging building design projects.
